ABOUT ME

Putting My Experience
to Work

I' m Dr. Uloma, a first generation Nigerian-American and I am running for Congress in Georgia's 13th district. I am a daughter of an immigrant father who has been deceased since 2009. I graduated from University of Lagos, where I obtained my medical degree before pursuing further studies in the United States. I earned a Master of Public Health degree from Loma Linda University in California and I am a certified paralegal specialist from Yale University.

For over 10 years, I have worked as a public health physician focused on Healthcare Policy, maternal and child health. In my role, I have advocated tirelessly for policies that support all women and families. I understand firsthand the disparities and challenges that exist in accessing quality and affordable healthcare, especially for women and children. If elected, I will make expanding access to healthcare a top priority through promoting Medicaid expansion, protecting reproductive rights, and

lowering the costs of prescription drugs. As the daughter of immigrants and a woman of color myself, I have also experienced discrimination. This fuels my passion for promoting diversity, inclusion and justice. If in Congress, I promise to be a voice for all underrepresented groups regardless of gender, race or background. My experience living in both Nigeria and the United States has taught me the importance of bringing people together instead of dividing them. I will strive to build bridges across differences and find common ground on the issues that unite us.

I am asking for your vote so that I can take my experience and values to Washington to be a champion for all people in Georgia's 13th district. With your support, we can work towards a healthier, more equitable and united future.
